KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FLAG DAY OBSERVANCE

The Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Meagher Assembly #1637 and Third Degree Marian Council #3827 will observe their annual Flag Day Ceremony this Saturday,

June 14^th. The program will begin at 6:00 PM with a processional from the Main Ballroom led by the Fourth Degree Honor Guard to the flag pole area on the Southside of the building. Opening and closing prayers will be led by Faithful Friar, Deacon Jim Mc Laughlin and patriotic songs will be sung at the ceremony, along with the Pledge of Allegiance. Joe Novak, KC’s Veteran’s Home Committee Co-Chair will be providing a honored flag that flew over combat zones in Iraq and he will provide the background on the flag, that will be then raised on the flag pole, by Grand Knight, Pat Nelson and Vern Fischbach, Faithful Navigator.

Following the ceremony dinner will be served from the club’s menu in the Knights Room. The public is invited to attend and more information can be obtained by calling the KC office at 952-888-1492. The Knights are located at 1114 American Blvd. West in Bloomington.
